This bear is made by my friend Annemieke.
She is an excellent bear maker and makes very cute and even very tiny bears.
So inspiring. I hope to take a class of her some day.

Today I saw this book in the shop window of a bookstore.
I felt like a little girl when the
store holder took the book out of the window to show me.
It is so beautiful. *wow*
There was no moment of hesitate to bring it home with me.

Day 242
My spindle.
Many years ago when I was 16 I bought it on a market. It was demonstrated and it looks so fascinating to me.
When I came home I couldn't do it myself. Tho I never could part of this 'toy'. It moved with me to every place I lived. About a week ago a friend taught me how to use it. Now I'm hooked.
Finally after almost 34 years I know how to spin on my spindle and I can tell you it is fascinating!

I'm happy with this school poster from early 1900. It is in a fragile condition. I will hang it in our bedroom.
I especially like it of the lady who is sewing/mending.
Ahhh needle work, those days every woman had her sewing skills.
Unfortunately these skills are disappearing these days.
