Day 135

Today I wanted to take a picture of these darlings from above.
Most of the time I take pictures of them on the same hight. So I thought to do something else but.....

it is so hard to resist their funny mouths. Look at ' Zusje' she is the middle one and 11 months old. Her  little mouth is so cute.

On the left is Moppie she is 6 years old. On the right is Bobo, 3 years.

And here they are again with the owner, our DD2.
She is a guinea pig lover for a bit more than 10 years. Since then we own guinea pigs.
When our daughter is coming home they are whistling to her. They stop as soon as she pick them up to cuddle them. Then they give her little sounds to tell her that they feel comfortable.
She takes care for them with whole her heart, day by day.
And the guinea pigs are so good for her,
our daughter, who has autism and some other 'special needs'

Wat een impact zulke kleine wezentjes kunnen hebben, ze zijn ook zo communicatief.

Animals can help so many people....(And of course, those people help animals, as your daughter helps the guinea pigs feel safe and comfortable.) I recently read of a veteran with severe PTSD who had terrible nightmares and panic attacks and when he began doing therapy with a horse he began to experience calm and peace again.....And in a similar if less severe way, my son who suffers from depression has gerbils and they are happy together....
