Day 223

A juvenile robin. You can see that the chest is turning red.
A few weeks ago it was colorless. It's nice to watch this little bird in my garden.

Day 222

This the picture I had in my mind as picture of the day.
But when I came home I found my favorite fabric in my mailbox.

Day 221

Finally I'm sewing a table on this quilt.

(I'm not so good in labeling.......Lot of my quilts even don't have a label
Yes, I know it is a very important part of a quilt.)

Yes I baste my quilts on the floor. Down on my knees. To me it works the best this way.

Day 203

'Le petit Prince' in Icelandic.
I was thrilled to find this book at the airport in Keflavik on our way home.
I collect this book in different languages since I was 16. It is translated in more than 160 languages.
Now I can add an Icelandic version to my collection.

The skein wool is from Hélène Magnuson. It is lovely a lovely soft Icelandic lambswool.

Last Iceland picture.

We arrived home late.

Day 198

One more time the Majestic Gullfoss.
No picture can describe the beauty of it. You have to hear the massive water what is coming down.
and feel it in your body.

We stayed close to this waterfall for two weeks in a lovely warm cabin.
Tomorrow we are heading home.
We drove miles and miles on Iceland's beautiful roads, along Icelandic horses, sheep, mosses, waterfalls, mountains, volcanos and the coast. (without seeing any traffic light)
I took a lot of pictures and I could even take more....
I enjoyed every minute of
Iceland, a land of unspoiled nature.
